The patron of International Aid Charity (IAC) is the Syrian scholar, Sayyid Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi. He is a distinguished Islamic scholar, jurist, writer, teacher and orator.

Shaykh Muhammad has devoted his entire life to teaching, writing and humanitarian service. Originally from Damascus Syria, he currently resides in Morocco, where he continues his scholarly work.
