Afghanistan Food Crisis Relief Fund

Provide 1000 families with food packs this winter 2021

Millions of Afghans will face starvation this winter unless urgent action is taken!

Afghanistan is now among the world’s worst humanitarian crisis with more than half the population – about 22.8 million people – facing severe food insecurity, while 3.2 million children under five suffer from acute malnutrition.

With a harsh winter on its way, the most vulnerable are the women, widows, and orphans. Under the Taliban, Afghan women haven’t been able to return to work and have not been paid even before the Taliban take-over in August of 2021.

Majority of these women are the sole providers of their families and out of desperation have been forced to sell their personal, home belongings, and as well as, out of desperation resorting to selling their children in the open market due to their inability to feed them ¹

With your help, we are looking to provide at least 1000 families with food packs to feed a family of five for two months.

HELP US EASE THEIR BURDEN, in providing 1000 families of female school teachers, janitors, security guards, widows and administrators with these aid packages to support them throughout the harsh winter of 2021.
