Afghanistan Food Crisis Relief Fund

Provide 1000 families with food packs throughout the winter months of 2021-2022

Millions of Afghans will face starvation this winter unless urgent action is taken!

Afghanistan is now among the world’s worst humanitarian crisis with more than half the population – about 22.8 million people – facing severe food insecurity, while 3.2 million children under five suffer from acute malnutrition.

With a harsh winter on its way, the most vulnerable are the women, widows, and orphans. Under the Taliban, Afghan women haven’t been able to return to work and have not been paid even before the Taliban take-over in August of 2021.

Majority of our Afghan sisters are the sole providers of their families. With no plans or hope put in place of their return to work – some out of desperation have been forced to sell their personal and home belongings, and as well as, resorting to selling their children in the open market because of their inability to feed them ¹

With your help, each food pack will provide enough food and personal care products for a family of five for two months.

HELP US EASE OUR SISTERS BURDEN, by providing 1000 female school teachers, janitors, security guards, widows and administrators families with the much needed support to help them throughout the harsh winter months of 2021-2022.
